The four traps that get creators banned in week one
Almost every permaban we see in our community trace data comes from one of these four mistakes:
- Same image, multiple subs, same hour. Reddit's spam detection picks this up automatically. Even if mods don't ban you, the algorithm shadow-throttles your account.
- Direct OF link in post body. Most adult promo subs require the link to be in your profile bio, NOT in the post. Posts with direct OF.com links get auto-removed by the bots.
- Title text that violates the sub's pattern. Many subs require titles in a specific format (e.g. "[F] [age] description" or "OC [city] description"). Posts that don't match are silently removed without telling you.
- Posting before karma threshold. Most subs have a minimum karma before auto-approval kicks in. Posts from accounts under the threshold sit in modqueue indefinitely. Build karma in advice subs (r/SexWorkersOnly, r/OnlyFansAdvice) for two weeks before promoting.

Frequency matters less than time-of-day. The peak windows in our data:
- Weekday late afternoon (4-7pm ET / 9pm-12am UTC). Best for general promo subs.
- Saturday morning (10am-1pm ET). Highest engagement on niche subs; less competition than weekday peaks.
- Sunday evening (7-10pm ET). Strong for retention-focused re-engagement posts.
- Avoid Monday morning. Subs are flooded with weekend backlog and your post gets buried in 20 minutes.
Where the table is wrong
